Incivility/Civility
Incivility - Deliberate discourtesy. Incivility is a general term for social
behaviour lacking in civility or good manners, on a scale from rudeness or lack
of respect for elders, to vandalism and hooliganism, through public drunkenness
and threatening behaviour.
Civility - Formal or perfunctory politeness: the act of showing regard for others.
Civic virtue is the cultivation of habits of personal living that are claimed
to be important for the success of the community.
